We present an application of the dual Gabor frames to image processing. Our algorithm is based on finding some dual Gabor frame generators which reconstructs accurately the elements of the underlying Hilbert space. The advantages of these duals constructed by a polynomial of Gabor frame generators are compared with their canonical dual.

We obtain the asymptotic expansion of the sequence with general term $\frac{A_n}{G_n}$, where $A_n$ and $G_n$ are the arithmetic and geometric means of the numbers $\d(1),\d(2),\dots,\d(n)$, with $\d(n)$ denoting the number of positive divisors of $n$. Also, we obtain some explicit bounds concerning $G_n$ and $\frac{A_n}{G_n}$.

Let $M$ be a non-zero finitely generated module over a commutative Noetherian local ring $(R,\mathfrak{m})$ with $\dim_R(M)=t$. Let $I$ be an ideal of $R$ with $grade(I,M)=c$. In this article we will investigate several natural homomorphisms of local cohomology modules. The main purpose of this article is to investigate when the natural homomorphisms $\gamma: Tor^{R}_c(k,H^c_I(M))\to k\otimes_R M$ and $\eta: Ext^{d}_R(k,H^c_I(M))\to Ext^{t}_R(k, M)$ are non-zero where $d:=t-c$. In fact for a Cohen-Macaulay module $M$ we will show that the homomorphism $\eta$ is injective (resp. surjective) if and only if the homomorphism $H^{d}_{\mathfrak{m}}(H^c_{I}(M))\to H^t_{\mathfrak{m}}(M)$ is injective (resp. surjective) under the additional assumption of vanishing of Ext modules. The similar results are obtained for the homomorphism $\gamma$. Moreover we will construct the natural homomorphism $Tor^{R}_c(k, H^c_I(M))\to Tor^{R}_c(k, H^c_J(M))$ for the ideals $J\subseteq I$ with $c = grade(I,M)= grade(J,M)$. There are several sufficient conditions on $I$ and $J$ to provide this homomorphism is an isomorphism.

In this paper, we propose a feasible interior-point method for convex quadratic programming over symmetric cones. The proposed algorithm relaxes the accuracy requirements in the solution of the Newton equation system, by using an inexact Newton direction. Furthermore, we obtain an acceptable level of error in the inexact algorithm on convex quadratic symmetric cone programming (CQSCP). We also prove that the iteration bound for the feasible short-step method is $O(\sqrt{n}\log\frac{1}{\varepsilon})$, and $O(n\log\frac{1}{\varepsilon})$ for the large-step method which coincide with the currently best known iteration bounds for CQSCPs.

We prove that a remainder $Y$ of a non-locally compact rectifiable space $X$ is locally a $p$-space if and only if either $X$ is a Lindel\"{o}f $p$-space or $X$ is $\sigma$-compact, which improves two results by Arhangel'skii. We also show that if a non-locally compact rectifiable space $X$ that is locally paracompact has a remainder $Y$ which has locally a $G_{\delta}$-diagonal, then both $X$ and $Y$ are separable and metrizable, which improves another Arhangel'skii's result. It is proved that if a non-locally compact paratopological group $G$ has a locally developable remainder $Y$, then either $G$ and $Y$ are separable and metrizable, or $G$ is a $\sigma$-compact space with a countable network, which improves a result by Wang-He.

The object of the present paper is to study spacetimes admitting quasi-conformal curvature tensor. At first we prove that a quasi-conformally flat spacetime is Einstein and hence it is of constant curvature and the energy momentum tensor of such a spacetime satisfying Einstein's field equation with cosmological constant is covariant constant. Next, we prove that if the perfect fluid pacetime with vanishing quasi-conformal curvature tensor obeys Einstein's field equation without cosmological constant, then the spacetime has constant energy density and isotropic pressure and the perfect fluid always behave as a cosmological constant and also such a spacetime is infinitesimally spatially isotropic relative to the unit timelike vector field $U$. Moreover, it is shown that in a purely electromagnetic distribution the spacetime with vanishing quasi-conformal curvature tensor is filled with radiation and extremely hot gases. We also study dust-like fluid spacetime with vanishing quasi-conformal curvature tensor.

We prove the existence of PPF dependent coincidence points for a pair of single-valued and multi-valued mappings satisfying generalized contractive conditions in Banach spaces. Furthermore, the PPF dependent fixed point and PPF dependent common fixed point theorems for multi-valued mappings are proved.
